On April 6, the American Bar Association honored Jones Swanson managing member Lynn Swanson with an award for her “contributions to the advancement of women in the legal profession.”

The award was presented by the ABA Business Law Section’s Women Business and Commercial Advocates Subcommittee, which seeks to increase the number of women who practice in business and commercial litigation by “providing mentoring and programming geared toward women business advocates.”

Over her career, Lynn has received numerous accolades both for her work as a litigator and for her contributions to the community. Most recently, Best Lawyers named her as a 2016 “Leading Attorney” in commercial litigation, and New Orleans CityBusiness magazine named her as its 2016 “Woman of the Year.”
