H.S. (“Tad”) Bartlett III, Associate

Harvey S. Bartlett III (“Tad”) is an associate with Jones, Swanson, Huddell & Garrison, L.L.C. Mr. Bartlett has been practicing in the fields of complex commercial litigation, environmental regulatory and tort litigation, surety litigation, and appellate advocacy since 2001.

Mr. Bartlett graduated magna cum laude from Tulane Law School in 2000, earning Order of the Coif honors, where he was a student attorney with the Tulane Environmental Law Clinic and served on the Tulane Law Review and the Tulane Environmental Law Journal. Prior to that, Mr. Bartlett completed his undergraduate degree at Spring Hill College in Mobile, Alabama, in 1994. Mr. Bartlett began his legal career as a judicial clerk for the Hon. James L. Dennis of the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Fifth Circuit. He then practiced in the New Orleans office of the law firm of Liskow & Lewis, working on appeals of complex civil and administrative disputes and environmental regulatory matters; and then in the surety litigation boutique firm of Krebs, Farley & Pelleteri. Prior to joining Jones, Swanson, Huddell & Garrison in 2009, Mr. Bartlett operated a solo appellate practice, focusing on appeals in large land-damage cases, complex commercial disputes, First Amendment claims, and antitrust violations.
